Internet controversy

The citizens of egypt are rioting because they want there president to resign after 30 years he's been in office. The government there has show that they are able to shut off the internet to the people their. Imagine if Egypt's government can do this, then can the U.S. do it as well. This shows how much power the government actually controls and how they can stop everything we can do in an instant. We thought the internet could no be turned off but Egypt has proven us wrong just to stop the rioters from talking and hearing the outside world.

Kinect

The Kinect for Xbox 360 is a popular motion sensor camera. It only has a handful of games but it can get your blood pumping and get you active. It is able to do facial recognition as well as voice. The games it currently has are extremely fun especially dance central. The kinect is a revolutionary technology it has been used in other projects by college students and it does not need a controller. It has 3 cameras one for Infer red to detect the person and 2 for its depth perception it is $249.99. It comes with a free game called Kinect Adventures.

  

3DS

The nintendo 3ds is supposed to revolutionize the gaming industry by introducing 3D with out glasses and is able to take 3D pictures as well. This gaming device allows you to control the depth of the 3D and it only costs $249.99 and it will be launching with a least 30 games that supports its 3D format.

Technology update

Skype has been updated to include multi-person video chat. This new feature now threatens Apple's ichat which was the only free multi-person video chat for macs. This means people with out macs will be able to   group chat with people who have macs. I have not made a group call to test the quality with multiple people hopefully it will be good.
 

Iphone 4 for Verizon is near!!!!

The long anticipated iphone 4 is being released by Verizon on February  10th but Verizon customers will be able to pre-order it ahead of everyone else and that will be on February 3rd. The new iphone supports a new cuts in its case that drastically improves the antenna and stops the "death grip" from occurring again. Also the Verizon Iphone will have the ability to be a mobile hot spot which will cost $20 per month and $20 more a GB if you go over the limited amount. Supposedly the Verizon Iphone will not be able to call and use 3g simultaneously like on AT&T because of Verizon's CDMA network. Also the new Iphone 5 is only about 5 or 6 months away so is it worth it getting the iphone now or later because of the iphone 5. The new iphone will hopefully have Verizon's new LTE network and will hopefully run calls and 3g simultaneously. So will you get the new iphone 4 for Verizon or wait for iphone 5
