The reporters from the Korea Herald have sated that Apple may adopt the AMEOLED display for their upcoming new generation of IPads. The Samsung Galaxy uses this, only because they make it.

A PC that runs ChromeOS

The Chromium PC announced last year has been scheduled to be released July 4th. It is the first desktop to be ready to run ChromeOS and other operating systems if you want it to. It holds 3 boards, also called modules, that are interchangeable this is what allows it to run other operating systems. The Xi3 has been designed to work with the cloud. It has an out-of-the-box set-up that will make it faster for you to get online.

Xbox now accepts Paypal

Today's scheduled update for xbox 360 now lets you pay with Paypal and reduces the power consumption when idle for more then an hour or more.

AT&T new 4G

AT&T will be testing their new 4G network in their foundry in Plano, Texas. It offers 28.87 Mbps downstream and 10.4 Mbps upstream. They tested it on the 700MHz spectrum and they plan to cover 95% of the country.


Verizon and Windows 7 Phone

Apples newly released patent shows us that the new cloud service makes you download a small piece of your intended music inorder to bypass the buffering that would begin at the beginning of that song. This will help with current 3G powered phones and it also includes a system that prevents people from stealing your music.

AT&T lets Android users Sideload

AT&T has finally let android users to install apps from unofficial sources. It will send out an outdate in the next few weeks for their users. But Atrix 4G users will have to wait for a maintenance release from Motorola.

Android Honeycomb 3.1

This is an update for Android powered tablets. It introduces fixes for certain things as well as new things.
It improves the Flash on the tablets by taking advantage of the hardware acceleration on the Xoom. 720p and 360p videos off of YouTube have been improved by this but 720p still lags a bit. There is also better multitasking on it by this i mean you can scroll up and down open apps all you have to do is hit the home button and flick. It also released a movie store offering $3 standard and $4 movies HD rentals. Now you can resize home screen widgets. It also introduces USB hosts this means it will accept keyboards, thumb drives and cameras. It also has an updated Quick Controls UI lets you view open tabs quickly and access settings. It also supports HTML5 video and enables hardware acceleration as well as other new features for the calendar app and the email widget .

New Apple Data Center?!?!

Apple has recently struck a deal with a SoCal server data center. This one is just as big as the on in NC but one difference is that they didn't make this one. This is being leased to them by a third party. Could this be part of the rumored music streaming service or a back up to the data center in NC.

This a new addition to the iRobot family. It is only about the size of a CD and a few inches tall. It costs $300.

PROS:   All you have to do is place it on the ground and press the CLEAN button. It has a collision detection system and is able to navigate into small disgusting places.

CONS: It cannot replace a mop, by this i mean it can't clean serious grim or dirt. It doesn't dry well even though it has a vacuum function. I drags hair and dust behind it like it has a tail.

Netflix: top internet Trafficker

Netflix has earned the top internet trafficker spot in north america. It has 30% piece of the downstream traffic. While Websites have only 18% now netflix only has it because of the amount of data it sends like HD movies that take several GBs. It grows even more everyday soon it will be bigger than 30%.

New LED backlit monitor revealed by HP

Today HP has revealed a new computer monitor. It is 23in.x 9.8mm this will give you a lot of extra space on you already crowded desk. It offers a resolution of 1980x1080 and a dynamic contrast ratio of 8,000,000:1 as well as a 3ms response time. It will be called the X2301 and it will cost $279.99.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1

This is a new breed of computers, it is a crossover. This laptop is made for the business life style but it doesn't seem like it is. It is thin, gorilla glass screen, spill-proof keyboard, and only weighs 3.7lbs. In 30min it can charge to 80% and comes with the option of an intel core i3, i5 or i7 processor. It costs $1400 and it also comes with Dolby Home Theater sound.

Earth like planet spotter

ExoPlanetSat's new nanosatellite, which is 30cm long, will embark on a new mission to spot earth like planets orbiting nearby stars. It will measure the incoming photons from the star but during this it has to hit the exact same pixels  over and over and any sort of movement will ruin the data. It only costs $600,000 compared to the millions of dollars that older and bigger satellites costs.

This week netflix has released an android version of netflix. This means netflix has extended its reach on its convenient streaming service.

Reading list

Mac OSX Lion introduces a new feature called reading list. It means web pages saved with this tool are able to be read offline and can be synced with an IOS devices. This allows you to read web pages on your IOS device even when theres no wifi or 3G available. This makes the app instapaper obsolete and it will be an interesting feature in Lion.

New imac

Earlier this mount apple released their new line of imacs. It features a LED-backlit display, with a 3x faster graphics card, has a quad-core intel processor and the thunderbolt plug in. It also gives you the choice of getting a track pad or magic mouse at no extra cost to you.

Iphone 5?

Alibaba.com has leaked a supposed picture of the future iphone. It show it to be a edge to edge screen which means it will possibly have a larger screen and the flash has been moved to the top right corner of the iphone. There also seems to be a difference in the home button but since this a iphone 5 case picture it could be just a sticker or a misprint.

1080p in 4.8in screen!!

A rival to iphone's 4 wondrous retina display is being made by Ortus technology. They made a 4.8in screen that plays back a 1080p image. Due to it's size it is a bit big to be a phone but too small to be a tablet so theres still work to be done here. As soon as they get it down to a smaller size it will be a wonderful product that apple may pick up for their iphone series.
