ExoPlanetSat's new nanosatellite, which is 30cm long, will embark on a new mission to spot earth like planets orbiting nearby stars. It will measure the incoming photons from the star but during this it has to hit the exact same pixels over and over and any sort of movement will ruin the data. It only costs $600,000 compared to the millions of dollars that older and bigger satellites costs.
